Overview

The UConn Women’s Club Soccer Team plays competitively all year against other club soccer teams in the New England and Mid-Atlantic Region through NIRSA. Our main season is the fall in which we compete within the Connecticut division. In accordance with NIRSA rules, we play 9 regular season league matches with the ability to play 1 non-league match. If we finish the top team in the region, we will advance to the Region 1 Tournament held in New Castle, DE. If we successfully win regionals, we move on to the NIRSA National Championships.

As a team in good standing with the University of Connecticut’s Club Sports office, we complete community service hours and fundraise to support the team.

We abide by the rules, guidelines and the constitution set out by NIRSA. It was founded in 1950 and serves over 8.1 million students in various sports nationally. To view additional information about NIRSA please click here.
